We believe that sustainability should be the fundamental cornerstone of every operational setting. Consequently, the requirement to establish pioneering sustainability standards within the industry emerged. This initiative led to the creation of our state-of-the-art Drumsill Distribution Centre.

The centre is at the forefront of sustainability, boasting an array of eco-friendly features. The building, partly powered by solar panels, enables us to harness renewable energy, significantly reducing our carbon footprint. Additionally, our rainwater harvesting system allows us to collect and reuse water in the building's toilets. The building itself is constructed with energy-efficient materials, which helps minimise energy consumption.

Our waste recycling system ensures minimal environmental impact by diverting waste from landfills and promoting recycling practices, while reinforced natural lighting throughout the building enhances productivity and reduces the need for artificial lighting. The building also features high-efficiency lighting, ventilation, and heating systems to further reduce energy consumption. We provide a bicycle shelter and electric car charging to encourage eco-friendly commuting. In case of power outages, we have an energy generator backup system in place. As a result of these initiatives, we have achieved an EPC A energy rating, reflecting our commitment to sustainability and energy efficiency.
